Three-inch AMLCD displays - engine monitoring display
(EMD)
Meggitt Avionics’ engine monitoring display (EMD) provides
engine, fuel and other aircraft data to the aircrew. This
three-inch display uses a high resolution colour active matrix
liquid crystal display (AMLCD), which is night vision goggle (NVG)
compatible and retains its high contrast over wide viewing angles.
Data inputs are via ARINC 429 and discrete.
The display format can be individually tailored to suit specific
aircraft requirements such as dials, linear scales, text or other
symbology.
