Secondary flight display repeater (SFDR)
Typically used in tandem cockpit aircraft where a Meggitt
Avionics´ secondary flight display system (SFDS)™ is fitted to the
front cockpit, the SFDR acts as a repeater for the rear cockpit.
Based on the three-inch indicator family, this display takes ARINC
429 data from the front display and then displays identical flight
data.
For some applications where space behind the panel is limited,
the SFDR can be used with a Meggitt Avionics air data attitude
heading reference system (ADAHRS) producing all the sensory
inputs.
