Magnetometer heading sensor (MHS)
The MHS is a stand-alone microprocessor-based unit that
provides digital heading data, output in ARINC 429 format (low
speed standard, high speed optional). Accurate digital output
of heading replaces fluxgate compasses and enables easier
interfacing with modern aircraft systems and displays. The MHS is
housed in a non-magnetic case and is compatible with existing
fluxgate sensor installations.
