Gaseous oxygen storage
Airborne modular oxygen system (AMOS) is a specially developed
high pressure lightweight rugged storage system for breathing
oxygen for military aircrew and passengers. AMOS increases the
utilisation and flexibility of aircraft by offering a modular
storage and distribution system that can be readily installed in
any aircraft. It is man portable and is configured to mount on
standard aircraft tracks using captive fixings. This is especially
useful in helicopters or transport aircraft that can be readily
converted for operations requiring oxygen to be distributed to
aircrew and passengers.
