We can trace our roots back over 150 years to
1852. Originally known as Negretti and Zambra,
the company founders pioneered research into
the relationship of barometric pressure and height
above sea level using hot air balloons.

Renowned as leading developers of scientific
instruments Negretti & Zambra produced barometers,
cameras, binoculars, thermometers and meterological
instruments often found in antique shops today.
Since the early 1960s we have produced Altimeters,
Airspeed Indicators, Airspeed Accelerometers and
Indicators, using traditional electro-mechanical
technology. This experience enabled us in recent
years to focus considerable engineering invention
and resource into the development of our current
range of avionics products. These innovative designs
have received wide acclaim within the industry
and have made a significant contribution to the
evolution of the modern cockpit.
The current product range harnesses 'Cutting
Edge' advanced digital processing and display
techniques and calls on our unrivalled qualifications
as a supplier of solid-state instrumentation.
Individual equipment items have been developed
to meet customer driven requirements that fall
within our specialist area. To date, this has
included: -
